Restless Spirits an adventure for 3rd-5th level characters Summoned by a council of elders, the heroes of the tribes are assembled to investigate a growing number of spirits manifesting near the Viel Between Worlds. Previously benign spirits have been malevolently attacking the denizens of the jungle and even members of the Loactha tribe who live closest to the Viel. Why are the spirits angry? Okay, I've decided to go ahead and make Tuesdays adventure central. I've been wanting to submit an adventure to Dungeon magazine for some time and have put off working on it because of time. Having recently gotten into the Open Design forum, I've decided to follow along with the steps Wolfgang uses. First up, select a project. |

Taking refuge in the dusty burial chamber at the beginning of the level, the group rests for the night. Ten recovers from his death experience and is as healthly as can be expected. The group stops at the room with the deadly trap and decides to try and break into it now that Leraz is right there and ready to bring anyone back from the dead at a moments notice. |

Having defeated the guardian of the crypt and his vampiric spawn minions, the group found themselves confronted with the great stone doors of that lead into the hill side. Chained from the inside it took some time before QT was able to break the chain with the help of Arin and Jecs. On the inside the party found a group of human cultists lying dead on the the floor. Ignoring the dead, the group opened the first door in a long stone hall. Beyond the door the party found an empty but very dusty burial chamber. This would later become their resting room. |

Having bested the Daask toughs, the Boromar Clan was ready to trust the party's intentions to help them with the problem presented by House Karkanen. Their informant told them that the three suspects had been spotted in Khyber beneath the Cogs. Those who had been sent before to the entrance to Khyber had been killed outside the entrance after having been surrounded by darkness. |
